  21. BACKGROUND STORY
  I was born in Italy in Rome. My mother did not have a job, and my father worked his whole life as a butcher and a taxi driver. I finished school for auto mechanics. I came to America in search of a better life after my mother passed away. However, I had a lot of problems finding a job because many people in this city do not like Italians, and that is exactly why I want to work at the Sheriff's Department: to change that. I want people to see that even though I am Italian, I can be useful and help people.
