21. BACKGROUND STORY

Fabian Smith was born on 1st January 1975, in the Republic of Moldova, Eastern Europe. He has finished high school in the year 1971 when the "Transnistrian" war started. His uncle was one of the 32 police officers that were captured and tortured during the unexpected assault on the "Dubasari" police station, assault which was planned and executed by the "Transnistrian Separatist Forces", as the war started, Fabian Smith didn't have the opportunity to continue his studies and was both driven by the youth's eagerness and a thirst for justice for his family and his entire country. After the ceasefire was signed in 1992 Fabian officially became an adult, he was one of the many Moldovans who left their country in search of a better future. Fabian Smith officially became a U.S. citizen in late '92. He continued his studies in advanced math, teaching, and languages while at the same time working as a security guard until the summer of 1994, from the summer of '94 until one month ago, he worked as a teacher at the University of LS, period during which he had to deal with the corruption within the LSPD and gang violence. Fabian Smith is currently renting an apartment inside of the Idlewood Motel, 605 Gilmore Avenue, where he is waiting for his new job application to be reviewed hoping that he can bring justice to LS and maybe one day return home if it will be safe.(The war from '92 ended with a ceasefire, there wouldn't be an official peace agreement in '96 as there isn't one in 2026)
